Plein Air Painting Workshop in Port Hope

Andrew Hamilton is a renowned plein air artist who will share his approach to painting outdoors and offer guidance throughout the day.
This workshop is suitable for all mediums.

The workshop will take place near the Port Hope Public Library, where there will be access to public washrooms, as well as a nearby gazebo providing shelter if the weather changes.
Whether you're an experienced outdoor painter or trying plein air for the first time, this workshop is a wonderful opportunity to learn from a respected artist while enjoying a creative day with fellow Art Club members.

STEVE ROSE

Abstract Painting Workshop
|
Steve Rose is a Toronto-based artist and graduate of The Ontario College of Art and Design.
He is a visual artist and educator.
This workshop is ideal for those artists that crave more freedom and looseness in their work despite subject matter.
Participants are encouraged to explore with landscape, still life, portraiture, florals, or a variety of starting points.
The focus of the workshop will be on techniques and suggestions towards abstracting your work, providing you with a fresh approach, and a new skill set of ideas.
In-depth individual attention will be paid to each artist in order to support a personal concept, content and overall creative execution.
