Workshop with Sharon Fox Cranston
ACRYLIC LANDSCAPE IMPRESSIONISM
24 October, 2017
Sharon led us through composition, the benefit of thumb-nail sketches,
value and negative pattern and a whole lot more.
All the while imparting knowledge she was busy with a painting,
and then gave us assistance with our own challenges.
This was the reference photograph. . . .
but after some thumb-nail sketches a vertical version was chosen.
. . . paint, thumb-nails, negative painting and then on to the real one . . . .
. . .the finished product was bright with unexpected highlights. . . .
a real treat on the use of colour. (photo not quite doing justice!)
A Most Enjoyable Day Sharon - Thank You !!
We Wish you everything Good in your new Lunenberg, N.S. Studio - we may even get to visit!
